The following are a few examples of the projects and industries I have had the opportunity to work with. While my passion is ecommerce, I have found that each industry is fascinating. I enjoy learning about each industry and building a system that supports a company's mission and vision.
Augusta SportswearAugusta Sportswear Ecommerce Project

The overarching challenge was to provide a solution that not only was a reflection of the current business model but also to provide a cutting edge ecommerce solution that fit both distributor and small business. Additionally the solution was required to be scaleable to accomodate for leveraging the technology for other company divisions.

The project scope extends past the root organization implementation into the use of Customer Facing web sites (otherwise known as extended web sites).

This type of installation supports the a wide range of business models and even allows different business models on a single installation. It also allows the creation and hosting of a virtually unlimited number of custom sites for specific customers and third party associates.

Proof Media

The goal was to create a solution that completely streamlined art creation, artist submission and client approval of the art. Clients are able to access proofs by entering a user name and password into the login page. Clients are able to approve as is, approved with changes, Change and re-submit and make comments about the proof. When an artist makes a change, the client is automatically notified as soon as the ad’s status changes. Log into your Media Manager to see the status of all your ads & projects at a glance. Click on the returned ad and see your clients' approval, along with comments. When a project is complete a 30-Day Archive will be available to view for reference purposes. An archived Project is available to be reinstated if desired.

BOSE Pro

My responsibilities included an Information Architecture evaluation of the current structure and a redesigned look and feel for the user interface for RFP purposes. The IA evaluation included a site map of the current site and an analysis of all links and files. I then organized this information into the appropriate navigation headings.

Augusta Chronicle Online

The Augusta Chronicle needed to update their online version of the paper to a more modern look. At the same time they also wanted to reorganize the way the information was structured so information could be more accessible.

I was challenged to update the user interface in a way that reflected the new information structure as well as to have the ability to change looks with the seasons or events. One such event is The Masters which occurs annually in Augusta, Georgia.

Specific Changes:
The information structure and navigation changed to aid the user in knowing what subject they were in at any given time. The previous site had many issues involving the user becoming disoriented once they had clicked only three or four links. Also, I included deep navigation elements to each sub section in order for the user to be aware of the information that was available.
